The Israelites who unanimously accepted God’s laws in chapter 24 were quick to building a calf as a god in chapter 32, signifying their impatience in waiting on God through Moses. In their impatience, the people wanted a god, a priest, a worship, a doctrine, and a sacrifice, which suited their carnal minds. But God in return, gave and directed us to worship and pray to Him, through Jesus, who is our High Priest through the sacrifice of his blood.
For many believers, how fast are we turning away from the promises of God? What is our role before and in Jesus’ return? And how long can we wait before breaking our threshold and doing things our way? After the delay and in our deliverance state, who are we giving all the accolades too, Ourselves, ‘Man’ or to God? And what are we giving up to serve a god?
Actively sharing our faith to bring others to salvation is the Believers primary responsibility and not that of the Angels of God. 2 Peter 3 vs 9 says the Lord’s delay creates a window for evangelism (paraphrased). Hence, we are the one’s delaying His return, when we sit back and do nothing about spreading the GOSPEL!.Both our life’s and our tongues must always speak about the Gospel.
Speaking to someone today will amaze you how much a single conversation can spark a chain reaction in that person’s life. God often prepares hearts long before we open our mouth to speak, as sharing the faith does not require a theology degree, but a willing heart.
Likewise, delay to answers in prayers sometimes tests our threshold in remaining faithful to God. Like the saying goes,delay is not denial.How strong is our threshold to remaining faithful to Him? Weariness whilst waiting on God births many temptations but Jesus who is our High Priest intercedes for us strengthening and encouraging us in our wilderness experiences and weaknesses. Our role therefore must be to wait for the Lord even if he tarries until He answers (through breakthroughs and manifestation of promises). What is that one thing, you and I are waiting on God for? ……..I declare it will no longer tarry in Jesus name 🙏.

DIVINE SELECTION
’And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship” (Exodus 31 vs 3 NKJV).
God always fills us with the gifts we need to carry out any of His given assignment. Being His employee or selected candidate can be likened to the process of a job/project vacancy, where out of the hundreds/thousands of people, selection is narrowed down to one person.
God’s ‘selection process’ can also be either Public and Vocal (where He openly announces us and sets us apart for the world to see e.g Bezalel) or Silent and Hidden (unfolding quietly through hidden preparation e.g David). Either way, resilience and tenacity are silently built in us during these processes which eventually helps us in the task ahead.
To be selected by God out of millions of people is the greatest form of honor ‘Man‘ can have. It gives us the perspective of seeing our talents/gifts as loaned assets and not personal property. Hence, creating a desire to please the Employer/Giver by overriding any form of temptation to cut corners, not wanting to disappoint the Employer and acknowledging that selection is not by human efforts but by divine favour.
Thirdly, to be God’s elect is to remain thankful and focused on Him always. In so doing, more gifts in form of wisdom, understanding and knowledge on the job are deposited in us.
Additionally, resilience built during ‘the selection process’,also becomes the strengthening factor that nudges us to push forward on the assignment ahead of us.
Furthermore, in God’s “corporate organization“, mistakes are allowed provided it’s not intentional and it’s truly genuine. His grace (Eph 1 vs 7) if we seek for it through Jesus is there to speak for us. However, even when we intentionally make mistakes, we can still reroute our path back to the original assignment.
Finally, entanglement in work space politics will shift us from the big picture, hence distracting us from total reliance on God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding which far out runs any human wisdom and work space politics. Therefore, sitting and meditating through on the wisdom of God until we birth inspiration and strategies (in form of intelligence and solutions on how to resolve problems on tasks) is the believers arsenal to all workspace politics and human wisdom.

PASS THE BATON
Aron will burn fragrant incense on it every morning when he polishes the lamps and again in the evening as he prepares the lamp for lighting, so that there will always be incense burning before GOD, generation after he generation (Exodus 30 vs 6-10MSG). In taking up our priestly role as believers, we are expected to come before GOD every morning and evening (and at all times- 1 Thess 5 vs 16-18, Eph 6 vs 18) to keep our lights burning beyond our generation.
The good thing about this is that the instruction didn’t stop with Aron and his sons, but He extends it to generation after generation. Having the next generation in mind whilst we’re still here on earth is a divine assignment that honors God’s timeline for humanity. It’s also GOD’s strategy that transforms temporary success into generational impact. And It’s also a reminder that our choices today, shapes our tomorrow’s reality.
Apostle Paul made reference to this in 2 Timothy 1 vs 5 and 2 Timothy 3 vs 14-15 were he mentioned 3 generations (Timothy, his mother and grandmother), applauding them of the strong faith which was passed through their family line. This family successfully passed the baton of faith through 3 generations. Likewise, Abraham also passed the baton of Abrahamic Covenant (the seed, land and blessing) unto the generations behind him. Which births the question –
What baton in form of character, culture, legacy, lifestyle or covenant are you passing to your children and the generation behind you? Some are busy building on earthly things (and that is not to say we can’t or shouldn’t – it’s not meant to be our primary assignment – Matt 6 vs 33). Others don’t even have an incline as to what to do. Whilst others are busy building on the wrong character, culture, legacy just to mention a few.
The blueprint to building an excellent character, culture, legacy, lifestyle or covenant in the coming generation is through the Word of God (Bible) .
Through it, Joshua 1 vs 8 instructs us as believers/priests to keep the scriptures in our mouth and meditate on them. In doing this, we are forming a character and creating a family culture, which our children would imitate and build on.
Secondly, having an absolute dependence on God through wisdom will teach us how to build a lasting legacy for the coming generation.
Furthermore, teaching our children and generations behind us the Word of God (Prov 22 vs 6) and they will not depart from it. Genuinely investing in this always pays off, as God is too faithful to let us down even in the time or day of trouble.
In conclusion, everyone’s (be it a parent or not) major assignment is to SUCCESSFULLY pass on the baton to the next generation. Like an intentional athlete running a relay race, focus, clarity with precision are some of the traits we should exhibit in running the race and SUCCESSFULLY passing the BATON.

JESUS CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST – PART 2
Jesus’ role as our High Priest continues in Exodus 29 as one without sin who offered himself, once, for all sinners – by having His flesh torn as a sin offering unto God.
He is also seen as our High Priest who ultimately surrendered himself as a burnt offering unto God in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Furthermore, Jesus’ ascension to heaven also represents the heave offering which was offered by Aron on behalf of the Israelites (Exodus 29 vs 22-28)
Jesus Christ as our High Priest is also a type and shadow of the lamb, which was to be offered upon the altar every morning. This signifies the continual intercession which Christ ever lives to make for his church before God our Father.
Whilst the Tabernacle where God resides for-shadows Jesus as our High Priest dwelling in us and satisfying us by God’s glory.
In conclusion, all offerings and blood sacrifices as well as daily intercessions before God have been offered by Jesus who is our High Priest. Why not reconnect with Him if you haven’t and allow Him take the lead.

JESUS THE HIGH PRIEST – PART 1
Tbe holy garment distinguishing the PRIEST from the people in Exodus 28, is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ who is the emblems of the glory and beauty of God.
As our High Priest, Jesus Christ presents his people before God blameless and reconciled because of his perfect ones-and-for-all sacrifice.
Additionally, as Aron was the high priest in Exodus 28 vs 12 and bore the names of the sons of Israel on his shoulder, Jesus as our High Priest, bears the burden of men on his shoulder, giving peace in return as it is written that the responsibility of complete dominion is upon his shoulders (Isa 9 vs 6 TPT)
Concurrently, the breastplate of judgement which was also the chief ornament of the high priest, is also a type and shadow of Jesus as our High Priest. Our Lord Jesus carries us as lambs in his arms holding us close to his heart (Isa 40 vs 11) signifying how precious and honorable he holds us before God, no matter how small, big, rich or poor we are.
Ultimately, the high priest had the names of the tribes, both on his shoulders and on his breast, which reminds us of the power and the love with which our Lord Jesus pleads for those who are his.
Another role of the high priest was to use the Urim and Thummim as a means to know God’s will. Jesus as our High Priest is our Oracle who reveals all things because he is the truth and light (John 8 vs 31-32, 8 vs 12).
And lastly, the turban which signifies Jesus as the holy High Priest, who is the only one who qualifies to be Holy before the LORD (Hebrew 7 vs 26)
In conclusion, there’s no glory, no beauty, no reconciliation, no burden bearer, no peace, no love, no truth, no light, no holiness (just to mention a few of the benefits of accepting Jesus as our High Priest) outside of Jesus Christ being our High Priest.Therefore, we ought to rejoice and be encouraged because of the uncountable blessings (grace, favor, love, peace, power,mercy etc) of our High Priest and draw nearer to Him to unlock more of these blessings and partake of them at all times.
The starting point to being a benefactor of Christ as our High Priest if you are not a believer is to say👉 (THE SALVATION PRAYER): That is, If you’ve never accepted Jesus into your life, please say this prayer:

MINISTER’S AND SHEEP’S DUTIES
No doubt God is very detailed and in His detailing, He gave instructions to 2 categories of people – His Ministers (Shepherds,Priests, Pastors, Prophets etc) and His SHEEP (Believers, The Flock, Disciples, Brethren etc). Both parties in Exodus 27 vs 20 -21 are expected to align with His given instructions.
In lightening and tending to the lamp, God instructed Aron and his sons (they were 4 sons plus Aron, 5 in total) to keep the light burning from evening to morning. (In my analogy, I’d say they had to take turns in keeping the light on, probably staying awake for at least 2 hours plus each from dusk to dawn continually). This means that for a Minister to function excellently before God as a Priest, staying up to search the scriptures for the sole aim of teaching and enlightening God’s people is his/her first and primary assignment. This is a command from God and shouldn’t be debated upon.
Secondly, as the priests were asked to light and tend to the lamps, the Ministers task is to expound and teach the scriptures to enlighten the church (God’s people upon the earth) on sound doctrines, the will of God and Christian living. Prov 25 vs 1 says it’s the glory of God to conceal a matter and it’s also the glory of kings to search it out (paraphrased).
Thirdly, just as the priest lightened and tended to the lamp, Ministers are also meant to guide and teach the congregants absolute dependence on God. And God in His divine power will bring a lasting transformation to their life’s. Furthermore, in lighting and tending the lamp, Ministers are to offer sacrifices (through fasting, consecration of their time, resources etc) and placing intercessions on behalf of the congregants. In doing this, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the Minister will always address and resolve issues relating to the life of the believers through teaching and word study sessions.
Finally,in lighting and tending the lamp, Ministers are meant to teach believers to differentiate between the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error; ability to identify the events of the end time and it’s false doctrines, focusing on godliness, which is profitable for all. (1 Timothy 4 vs 1-16, 1 John 1 vs 6)
In response to the service offered by the Ministers to the congregation, believers are also expected to bring to God’pure oil of pressed olives’ (Exodus 27 vs 20) through the manifestation of the gifts and graces of the Spirit, received from Christ. These manifestations (Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, Faith, Speaking in Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues, Discerning of Spirits, Prophecy, Miracles and gifts of Healing) are expected to be seen in the believers interactions with others, in the various sectors or industry, homes, communities and different areas of our lives in order to build up the faith community, deepen spiritual missions and promote unity and love on the earth.
In conclusion, the ministers assignment are Scriptural Mastery, Guiding the flock to depend on God, Sacrificial Intercessions and Guiding the flock on Spiritual Discernment. Whilst the believers response to this, is to manifest the gifts of the Spirit and influence the market place with these gifts and use them to deepen kingdom missions, foster love and unity in the body of Christ.
As light or members of the body of Christ, we are expected to infuse the earth will these teachings received and influence it for Christ.

BREAK FORTH
”The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy ” (Exodus 26 vs 33c). The veil mentioned is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ who bridges the gap between God and the sinful humanity.
It is only a son/heir of a family that knows the technique to
approach his earthly father, when an outsider seeks access to his father. In the same way, no one can gain access to God except through Jesus who is our ultimate mediator (1 Timothy 2 vs 5) and high priest(Heb 2 vs 17).
The primary reason God created us is to give him pleasure (Rev 4 vs 11). In giving Him pleasure, we must reflect Christ in every manner, part of which is functioning as a mediator and a priest be it in our homes, offices, communities or countries. We must mirror Christ in ALL of his character, because we have Zoe life in us. Life is not just about asking God for our immediate personal needs alone, God is too brilliant to create you and I for just that reason. We were born to do more, we are partakers of the global vision of God. Every decision and step taken in alignment with Him is for the global community. Don’t think you are irrelevant, instead, you’re part of the smallest or biggest molecule in the event of things that functions in the entire plan of God.
Hence, as a mediator or priest, how much time do you devote into Intercession?
Intercession is to be done for other families, communities, that lonely/poor individual, the nation you reside and other nations, industries, saints, unbelievers and the list goes on and on. The greatest connector God has initiated to Himself from creation is Jesus Christ, whom he has introduced to reconcile Man back to Himself. Since, He has already provided the connector, why don’t you take up your position/role as a mediator/priest and begin to make impact and change the world through your Prayers, you can be sure this gives God good pleasure.
Moses took up his own role and led about 3 million people across the desert to the promise land and that must have been a very hard task (having to deal with different characters, alongside their complaints and all) yet, he still interceded for the people (both the good and the bad) irrespective of their position or class. Who or what is God telling you or asking you to intercede for? Break forth and step up into that higher calling, don’t be a back bencher. You are created to do more!

GIVING YOUR BEST
God demanded an offering from the Israelites and it wasn’t just an ordinary offering, instead, He demanded for the BEST from whoever was WILLING to give adding that a sanctuary be built for Him also to dwell in (Exodus 25 vs 1-8).
God Almighty is associated with excellence and will not demand anything less than the Best from His Children. And of course, we know that in giving our best to God, it will no doubt cost us something of great value, which could either be our time, resources, effort, relationship with others just to mention a few. For no one can give his/her best without stretching and subduing the flesh. Meaning intentionality is key when giving your best to God and it is a significant price to pay.
As new testament believers, our body is firstly God’s dwelling place, which should be offered willingly and at it’s very best, not sometimes but at all times. It is dedicating our daily life, choices, and physical body to serving God’s purposes(Rom 12 vs 1). It is also leaning on Him with the help of the Holy Spirit for directions on how to sustain and maintain His presence, through righteous living.
In willing and giving our best to God as an offering, we present Him the best in
continuous praise and worship as a gift which honors Him (Heb 13 vs 15). Secondly, we give the best in material or monetary gifts to advance the kingdom of God and to help the poor (Philip 4 vs 18). Thirdly, we give our best in acts of kindness and good deeds to others, as this directly qualifies as a pleasing sacrifice to God (Heb 13 vs 16). Fourthly, we present God the best in giving up our life for the faith, as it is the ultimate earthly offering to God (2 Timothy 4 vs 6). And lastly, we give our best in willingly sharing the gospel so that others will dedicate their lives to God (Rom 15 vs 16).
In conclusion, If we can wake up everyday to put up our best at work in order to pay the bills, how much more the things of God. Giving the best in whatever we are giving unto God despite the discomfort is what is acceptable as an offering and It doesn’t come cheap.
You can’t give God your best if you’ve never accepted Jesus into your life and the first step to doing that is to please say this prayer:

SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION
When God speaks, our first responsibility is to document it. Just as Moses recorded the Lord’s words (Exodus 24:4) and Habakkuk was told to write the vision plainly (Habakkuk 2:2), we must preserve what we receive.
When we actively step out to execute God’s word, He imprints His laws directly onto our hearts (Exodus 24:12), transforming His commands into our daily habits.This process fulfills the New Testament prophecy. Hebrews 10:16 : “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.“Therefore, taking intentional notes during church services, personal prayers, and bible study is vital.
This single discipline equips us to execute God’s plans, advancing His purpose in our individual lives and across the global community. God governs His people through His written word and covenants. Because His commands are perfectly just, the more we deeply meditate on them, the more clearly we see the wisdom in obeying them.
In conclusion, writing down God’s word is not merely a way to remember information; it is the starting point for spiritual transformation. The physical act of recording His voice sets the stage for a divine partnership. As we actively study, meditate on, and obey the written word, God mirrors that text internally, engraving His desires onto our minds and hearts.
Ultimately, a documented word leads to an obedient life, positioning us to be effective vessels for His global purpose.

LOVE – PART 4
Man’s love towards God is the third part of the triangular model previously explained. And it comes in various ways of Man displaying his love towards God.
The following are such ways –
1) To believe in God.(Heb 11 vs 6, John 14 vs 1)
2)To be Obedient to God’s instructions and guidance.(John 14 vs 15, 1 Sam 15 vs 22)
3) To offer service to God.(Rom 12 vs 1, Josh 24 vs 15)
4) To fellowship and be intimate with God through prayer and worship.(James 4 vs 8, John 4 vs 23)
5)To walk in faith.(Gal 2 vs 20)
6) To trust God.(Isa 26 vs 3, Prov 3 vs 5 -6)
7) To study and meditate God’s Word.(Ps 119 vs 11, 2 Timothy 2 vs 15)
8) To submit and give reverence to God’s ordinances.(Eccl 12 vs 13, Rom 13 vs 1-2.).
When man responds to God through these eight pillars, love ceases to be a mere feeling and becomes a tangible reality. Jesus summarized this profound truth in John 14:21: “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.” Therefore, showing love to God is not defined by human emotion, but by active alignment with His divine nature and will.
To understand the full scope of this spiritual relationship, we must look at how man’s love completes the entire triangular framework:
The First Side (God’s Love for Man): This is the foundation. God initiates the relationship through unconditional love, grace, and the sacrifice of His Son (1 John 4:19).
The Second Side (Man’s Love for Neighbor): This is the horizontal expression. Loving God requires loving others, as we cannot love a hidden God while neglecting a visible brother (1 John 4:20).
The Third Side (Man’s Love for God): This is the vertical response. It connects the loop back to the Creator. Man uses the eight expressions listed above to reciprocate God’s initial love.
When all three sides of the triangular model are active, a believer experiences total spiritual alignment. Trusting, Obeying, and Fellowshipping with God directly impacts how we treat our neighbors.
Ultimately, fulfilling the third part of this model satisfies the greatest commandment ever given: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). Through belief, service, prayer, and reverence, for then will man move from being a distant creation to having an intimate companion with the Living God.
